We got asked one day on what we could do to promote MS Awareness. I was kind of shocked at that request because I have been on the Radio several times, had several TV Interviews, Had dozens of News Paper Articles, Write an MS Information article for 5 News Papers each month and started the Quilt Project. What else do you think I can do?

Well, leave it to my husband to come up with something. Float! Yep, a Parade Float. What a butt load of work but it has been well worth it. We think it is the only one in the country and it sure is popular here locally.

It all started out as a wrecked and recovered stolen 1986 Jeep Cherokee. It was donated by the Sheriff's Department, through Schaffer's towing. Schaffer's even delivered it to the house for us.

You had to let your imagine run wild at this point.

Looking more like a Dune Buggy than a Float.

Here it is at the First parade.

The "Retired" MS Float from 2000 to 2002

MS Float from 2000 to 2002

Here it is the NEW 2003 to ???? Float.

The New Float's a winner

The new float is BIGGER

The new float is COLORFUL

And the New Float is a WINNER!

The Feet do the walking on the Headstone.... The 2 pictures below show how the feet make their step. At the deck they are 3 Feet off the ground. At the top of the step they are 13 feet off the ground. We have to becareful we don't hit Low signs and Tree branches in some parades.

The 2006 Spokane Lilac Parade....

The 2006 St. Patrick's Day Parade....
